Harper’s Playground Stands Together with the Portland Timbers

The 9th annual Stand Together Week kicked off with a clean up at Arbor Lodge, the flagship park of Harper’s Playground. Timber Joey and Capitan Jack Jewsbury were among a small group of volunteers that came together to beautify Portland’s first inclusive park. To maintain safe practices, the group wore masks and practiced social distancing.

With the help of local community partners and the city of Portland, the Portland Timbers and Portland Thorns FC coordinate this comprehensive, week-long community initiative that supports dozens of nonprofit projects and volunteer opportunities across the city.

Harper’s Playground is always looking for volunteers. Visit our volunteer page to learn more. (Chainsaw not included).
