Whether shaping policy, launching new initiatives, or strengthening communities, she leads with with strategy, creativity, and a relentless drive for impact. In 2024, Kelsey founded Propolis Communications, a strategic consulting and advocacy firm based in Olympia, Washington. With more than 15 years of experience in strategic communications across infrastructure, energy, and outdoor industries, she is known for her clear communication style, strategic mindset, and cheerful persistence in delivering wins for her
clients. Kelsey is a foodie, fermenter, gardener, and honeybee enthusiast who is proud to serve on the boards of the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce, the Nisqually Land Trust, and, of course, Harper’s Playground. She lives in Olympia with her partner, Paul and their two rescue dogs; Buzz the Hound and Rosie the Pocket Pit bull.
