Delsey has always been enchanted by and in awe of the natural world. From her upbringing in Hawai’i to her day-to-day life in Portland, protecting our outdoor spaces has been hugely important to her life. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Environmental studies, she began pursuing a career in the energy space. She currently works as an energy-efficiency program manager which involves utilizing state, federal, and local funds to promote energy-efficient alternatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Outside of work, Delsey has embraced all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, and spends her time tending to her garden, hiking, camping, and going for leisurely bike rides. When she’s not outside, she enjoys cozy hobbies like puzzling, reading, and garment making.
