Davis lives by this motto: “Let the child be the scriptwriter, the director and the actor in his own play.” – Magda Gerber. Davis was an educarer with infants and toddlers for nearly a decade before pivoting to her second career as a swath maker in the pursuit of facilitating happier and healthier youth (and thereby families, communities and world). Her second set of degrees hovered on design and she is now the tour guide and director for the Design for Human Health Masters of Design Studies program at The Boston Architectural College where she even gets to teach an asynchronous course called Play and Health in the Designed Environment. She has a proclivity for metaphysics related musings, arts of all sorts and – best of all – playing mom to her theater-centric teenage daughter. They live with theater-fan dad/husband in Corvallis along with a too-many-to-count menagerie.
